Very happy with these knives
So happy I bought these. I have purchased several sets of steak knives in the past and have not been happy with any of them. We continued to use our almost 30 year old knives because they are still better than any of the newer ones I've purchased until now. Best steak knives for the price...
Most dept stores sell these, ebay was the lowest price around. The knives are pretty lightweight and seem to be resistant to staining. The lack of weight makes them feel a bit flimsy but they do cut very well. The tips are a bit weak. Just from putting them into the dishwasher on a daily basis has bent just about all of the tips very slightly. Rough cut
I have an identical older set, same brand, but the serration was better. I’d had the older set a long time and the handles were showing wear. I ordered what appeared to be the same knives but am disappointed that the cut is rougher. Great knife set, came sharp out of the box but we will see how long they last. My only complaint is that the handles are a little smaller than I would have liked; they are smaller than the handles on the J.A. Henkels knife block set I have, which was a little disappointing.
