Easy install, I used Pelican 1430's that I modified to fit the bracket. Overall a good value, good quality and MUCH less expensive than factory. If they get damaged in a fall or on the trail I really don't care.

Spend a little more money, buy better pannier racks
I bought these for my KTM 1090 Adventure R. It is my first brand new bike. Solid pannier racks saved my last two bikes a lot of damage from minor drops and slides so I bought these for my new KTM. These racks came in before my bike was even delivered to my house. The day after I got my bike, 3 miles on it, I began to put these TUSK bars on. Don't get me wrong, they are solid! But, the craftsmanship is awful. I followed the instructions and installation video leaving the bolts really loose and tried to put the entire rack system on before tightening. Some of the flanges (with the bolt holes) on the racks were so far off I could not get the bolts started in the holes. Some of the flanges were welded on crooked, tilted opposite of the frame, or were off because the bars were welded at an ... I bought these for my KTM 1090 Adventure R. It is my first brand new bike. Lets put it this way, after pushing and prying and struggling, I got two of the final bolts started and began to tighten them down. The torque on the bolts was so strong it sheered the bolts off in the frame of my new bike. I had to drill them out which left unsightly and un-useable damage to the fame and bolt holes. I cant even re-attach the factory luggage bars because the holes are destroyed. Also, the rear, cross stabilizer bar has to be attached upside down because it runs into the under side of the rear fender. Not a big deal until you try to add the fuel Rotopax, then it wont fit because the bar is in the way!! Contacted TUSK and they would not help at all. Only offered a return label nothing for the damage these bars did to my bike. The least they could have done is refunded my money. I mean, they are going to pay more for return shipping than they have into these crappy bars!

These racks are sturdy and the fit was very good. The only caution is that they will only work with the 1 gallon gasoline rotopax. They will not allow you to mount any of the other rotopax containers.
