    2004 Chevrolet Suburban - replaced both window struts and hatch struts

    The struts all appeared to be of very good quality. They were easily installed (instructions were included). I replaced the rear window struts one at a time. Removing the old ones only required one hand so I held the window fully open with my other hand. Replacing the struts required both hands so I held the window open with my head. Removing and replacing the rear door hatch required two hands so I used a piece of 1" PVC pipe, with a folded cloth against the door and chocked on the rear mat, to hold the hatch open. I think the whole process, including wiping away all the dust that you discover that never gets cleaned when washing the car, took maybe twenty minutes. Both the window and hatch are now well balanced, not requiring excessive force to close and not springing open too ...

    2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LT - replacement of Rear Liftgate Hatch Struts

    Made in USA and EXCELLENT quality! Super easy to install using only a standard flat blade screwdriver. The listing included instructions with pictures and was very easy to follow. Had the job done in less than 15 minutes. Just a reminder, when you install the new parts you need to have the liftgate opened up fully to line up the strut attachment points. This is because the struts are fully extended and under pressure and you will not be able to push the cylinder rod (silver shiny part) into the cylinder (the black part) by hand to try to line them up. I was by myself (with two people it'd be a snap!) so I used a spare piece of PVC pipe as a brace. Placed one end on the bumper and the other end to hold the door up. Once installed, the liftgate opens and closes smoothly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    You won't believe how easy they are to replace.

    Made in the USA, priced nearly as cheap as the Chinese products, and super easy to replace. Nearly anyone can do it. Saved a hundred bucks and did it myself. No more struggling with a heavy lift gate that won't stay open.

    2004 Chev Suburban LT hatch lift strut.

    Great product. Easy install (see YouTube videos for help). I'd recommend two person install since the hatch is very heavy!! At $29 for the pair for the quality I'd say it's s great value. Very happy!
