After reading a handful of reviews about this product (mostly negative or neutral) I decided to take a leap of faith. It was a wise decision! Aesthetically, I actually LIKE the "battery bulge", as it makes holding the phone easier. The case is extra "grippy" and the added weight feels proportional, not awkward. The backup battery is awesome! I have been very pleased with my 2 day + time between charges. The price point was reasonable, too. The rubberized case wears out and breaks on the corners after a couple of years. Super glue helps somewhat. The battery itself will have lost capacity as well, even if it is unused or little used, because this item is several years old by now. Still, it does boost the charge in the phone and gives a few extra hours. This battery case is fantastic! Nice feel to the material. Works as advertised. My phone battery was dying quickly! I chose this case for about the price of taking the phone in to have the internal battery replaced. But, with no risk of the phone breaking! And, if the phone does die, I can take the case with me. Now, I’m getting a good battery life. Plugs in to the lightning port and the charge passes through. A little google on how to turn on the battery widget so you can see the phone and case charge levels. Couple of bad things: - the earphone jack is now a very narrow long hole. This works great. It's well integrated. I've had other battery cases before and they may be cheaper and have more power, but this one is nicely integrated being an apple product. It makes my iphone 6 easily last throughout the day which is plenty. Without this battery case, I was constantly trying to keep the phone charged to avoid it running out halfway or earlier through the day. The regular lightning adapter is nice to have. The case roughly doubles battery capacity. There's also no need to constantly be pulling the case off to charge the phone separately which is often needed with other third party cases.This works great. It's well integrated.
