    Good quality USB 3.0 extention.

    Bought a new smaller PC case, that didn't have an exterior 3.5" drive bay. Had to purchase a usb dvd drive, which didn't have a long enough cable, so I bought this extension. It was the desired length, and USB 3.0, for my usb dvd drive. It is of good quality, and I haven't had any problems with using it.

    Very useful, so far.

    I have had many occasions where this added convenience, as well as fulfilled needs. Seems to be reliable, and effective. Of course, adding something like a cord between devices can be a downgrade depending on the circumstances. But when it comes to WHAT this device is for, it is very good. While I wouldn't recommend using a cord on any flash drive if you don't have to, if you can't plug your devices directly into your computer, or need a way to switch out easy, without having to move said computer in example, a cord in the USB slots can be VERY useful. I do enjoy having this cord around for these times. Makes a great mouse or keyboard extender.

    Works OK But Needed Trimmed

    This item worked great for me AFTER I trimmed some of the plastic coating off the female end. Prior to that trim job, I could not get anything plugged into that female end. Interestingly enough I bought this one because that end was coated and not bare like so many others.
