The Relic
The plot fell into some very well-used ruts but there is good chemistry between the main characters and a monster that makes it more than a C movie. For once, there is actually a reason the monster is attacking any and all who are unfortunate enough to encounter it. Of course you know there's no hope for anybody who says 'I'll be all right - I'm staying behind.' I'm not a hard-core horror fan so the general lack of a lot of explicit gore and body parts wasn't a minus for me. A good monster movie with a twist.
Love this movie! It has a great story line, lots of suspense, some gore but not over the top. The only downfall is a little to much swearing.
