    Six Amber Things

    If you are looking for the perfect introduction to The Residents this 2 disk collection might just be the best place to start. Disk one contains songs from 1981-1996 and disk two goes all the way back to 1972. 36 brilliant songs in all. Also, something that is unique to this set are the concentrate songs where they took pieces of a full Residents album and made a medly of sorts out of it. The Gingerbread Man Concentrate (a little over nine minutes long) is a great example. The songs is seamless and covers the whole album beautifully. Only The Residents could have pulled this off. 5 Huge Stars.
