    Good upgrade for older PC

    I was running an older HP/Compaq desktop which I though was limited to 4GB. It runs Windows 10, but not that fast. I learned that some versions of the motherboard installed in this machine (CQ5320F) could take more RAM so I upgraded using a pair of 4GB PC3 DIMMs. It definitely made things faster and quicker switching between windows. Installed easily and runs well.

    Works, in spite of pkg

    This arrived early and worked fine. I was concerned that it was not packaged properly in conductive, ESD-proof packaging, but it seems to have survived it anyway. (Be aware the pink poly material is anti-stat, but not conductive. It is not sufficient for shipping memory or other electronic products.). Thanks, CLD

    The fact that I'm typing this means it's working

    First one showed up DoA, but that's not the most unexpected thing in the world. Computer parts can be finicky. Seller was more than happy to replace. Extra care was taken in shipping the replacement, and it works GREAT on this old hunk of junk we're using at work. Now I can have more than one window open at a time! Wow! I'm even able to write this review without it freezing up and crashing on me at least twice!
