    Good phone for the price!

    The LG 5300 is a good phone for the price. Battery life is about 3-4 days---The Razor before this phone only lasted a day, no matter if I used the phone or not! Overall this is a good phone with many Get It Now features--more than is listed on the Verizon site for this phone. No, it does not have VCAST. You are able to send ringtones attached to pic messages and save as ringtones. It does have a camera which I only use for the phone itself. I don't try to get pictures off the phone, just like it to take pictures of my grandchildren for the phone wallpaper. The ringer is loud. when you send pic messages with ringtones attached, they are also loud. I know this model phone has had a lot of freezing problems in the past where you had to remove the battery, but so far, this has not happened to ...

    THE GOOD: The LG VX5300 is a simple and lightweight flip phone that features a VGA camera with a flash, a speakerphone, analog roaming, and a Web browser. It also has an easy-to-use keypad and excellent call quality. THE BAD: The LG VX5300 has a rather boring design, and we aren't fans of the camera's picture quality. THE BOTTOM LINE: The LG VX5300 is a fitting entry-level camera phone for those who don't want a lot of frills but do want excellent call quality.     good, regularly-cheap priced cell phone : operates well

    This model cell phone works for me again!...I had dropped my last one and discombobulated it to the point where it was working but in damaged-mode....lol....no probs....they're cheap enough and easy enough to re-key at the Verizon store....only one big major flaw in the design of this very model: it is in the "hinge-bump" on the right side (whilst looking at the unit in the front, right-side up)----this unit developes fractures at that point and that can lead to a hinge with the flip-mode in jeapordy...lol...sounds silly, but if you get one, you'll learn..I had mine with the strands hanging-out and damaged that control the screen that run through the hinge....just from dropping it on concrete real good from 5'-up from the floor---get a case for it!!! ....... Great thing is that the phone ...

    No bells or whistles but works! Never had a "conflict"?? Amazing!

    Decent phone with basic functions. Speaker easy to turn on/off. Buttons a little soft need more tactial feel. Scroll dial too small for thumb causes entry errors. Side buttons cause more errors that they're worth. Display bright, clear but packed w/ too much info. Fonts small hard to read. Logic ok and intuitive. Sound quality 6 out of 10 - a bit muddy. External attenna needs to be more rounded for pocket comfort. Won't charge if plugged in before a complete shutdown so you wait a lot. Nice, small, and radiused makes it easy to carry. Needs larger radius on edge to ease one hand opening. Old phone but works!
