Good quality for the cost.
I've only used this headlamp for a few hours over the course of a week. It has worked fine. It is a comfortable fit and has been very helpful while performing maintenance in the attic and the crawlspace of our house. It does not come with any instructions and the charging lights for the battery pack are counter-intuitive (the adapter light is green when plugged into house current and turns red while charging). The red light never goes out so it is just a guess as to the charge capacity. It uses a non-standard (currently) 18650 battery which will probably require online ordering for replacements. But, the batteries are large and I've used the headlamp on the brightest setting for close to one hour and it still was lighting my way.I've only used this headlamp for a few hours over the course of a week. Worth the price but....
This headlamp is great, it really is. For the price point the quality is acceptable and the fact that it comes with rechargeable batteries adds to the value. The straps adjust nicely and although the battery pack appears a little heavy when you pick up the headlamp, once you place it, the weight evens out nicely on your head and it fits comfortably. The reason for 3 stars is 100% due to false advertising. This headlamp is NOT 12,000 lumen's. It isn't even CLOSE to 12,000 lumen. I own a few high end flashlights (both handheld and tactical lights for weapons). The lumens on my lights range from around 300-1100 and if I had to guess on the actual lumen output of this headlamp, I'd put it closer to my Streamlight TLR-2 Tactical Weapon Flashlight which is 300 Lumen. This headlamp is 300-600 ... This headlamp is great, it really is. For the price point the quality is acceptable and the fact that it comes with rechargeable batteries adds to the value. Best headlight I have ever bought
I have bought every type of headlight and clip on caplight over the years and all have ended up in a drawer or trash can for various reasons. A few months ago I began an online search for a decent headlight and finally settled on this one. This light is brighter than I ever expected and so far the batteries seem to hold charge really well. The light fits very comfortably and does not shift around on my head. So far it has exceeded expectations. great light but wires come loose
This is an excellent headlight it has plenty of power and the batteries last for about 6 hours. the only problem I have had is if you pull on the cord between the lamp and the battery it will come un-soldered inside the lamp enclosure. I repaired it once but it happened a second time and I haven gotten around to fixing it. the cord just pokes through a hold in the housing and there is nothing to hold it from pulling out.This is an excellent headlight it has plenty of power and the batteries last for about 6 hours. the only problem I have had is if you pull on the cord between the lamp and the battery it will come un-soldered inside the lamp enclosure.
