      Brand new and works great.

      It does appear to be brand new. It was in what looked to be an original box that would come from HP. This was purchased as a second adapter for my laptop so I didn't have to carry the one I have back and forth between work and home. This also provides a backup if I need it.

      Works As It Should

      Rectangular power box is much smaller and not as heavy as original 741727-001 but it works great and does not over heat.
