    Good replacement but be aware of different cable lengths in Dell models.

    It's a good replacement but not all the cable lengths are the same on the Inspiron models. This one was shorter than my i5 original but I was still able to make it work. The connections are very small and it's better to leave them intact I think instead of trying to make an extension cable.

    Works perfectly

    I needed a fan for a 3 month old dell fast. Dell wanted me to send my laptop back to them with a turn around time of up to a month. The fan was a little pricey at almost 32.00 but it fit and works perfectly and was able to get the laptop up and running in a few days.

    Fan works and fit perfectly

    Fan fit like a champ. Much quieter now. Watch out for the keyboard ribbon cable, the plastic clip is very fragile. The fan part was pretty easy.
