    Samsung SCH A650 (Verizon Wireless)

    Out of my four different cell phones, this is the best I have owned yet! It features both outside and inside screens with great details, easy to use features, and cool music option. I love the TrueTones, which allow your ringtones to sound like the real songs, not just a computerized ringtone. The V-Cast music option is neat, especially since you get the software to download your CDs to the phone. My only negative comment is regarding the outside display. I wish it would stay on constantly (or at least have an option to). I often forget my watch and like to use my cell phone as a clock!

    Good workhorse phone

    I lost my motorola razer phone, didn't have insurance and decided I didn't want all that camera jazz on my cell phone. All of the discount phones at Verizon were $80 bucks. I decided to seek this phone out after a friend had used one for several years and just loved it. I found 2 on ebay, purchased them both and have really enjoyed them since. They are sturdy, work great and very affordable when purchased used. Pros: Good reception, no-frills phone, good memory, lightweight, easy to use, built sturdy, I've dropped many times, no problems, no cracks. Cons: limited battery life, maybe 3 hours talk time, 18 hours standby time. Very good phone and I recommend this little workhorse of a phone.

    Samsung SCH A650

    I purchased a used Samsung SCH A650 to replace one which had become damp in the circuit area. The Samsung SCH A650 was the only reasonably priced Verizon phone which had a hands free car kit available. For those of us who are a bit tech challenged, this phone has a pretty simple system of operation, easy instructions to read and follow, and draws little power if not used much. The curse of all cell phones remains the battery capability, and the ease to run out of charge fairly early if heavy use is required. The display is easy to see but the screen cover does get dirty easily requiring constant cleaning, and bright sunshine is a challenge to the graphics. A good basic phone.

    samsung a650

    I was given this phone as a replacement for my motorola v60. Yes this is a basic phone, but it has everything you need in a basic phone; internet, calendar, great reception and yes it is pretty tough. I work in the law enforcement community and it takes a pretty good beating. I've dropped mine more than I can count, it's been knocked against walls, doors, sat on, you name it. The case finally did crack, but the phone still works, it just doesn't stay flipped open very well now, hence my buying another replacement. If your looking for a tough, basic phone, I highly recommend this phone.

    Samsung SCH A650 Reliable Simple Strong Phone!

    Hey, we're NOT going to the Moon on this one. But if you want a dependable, reliable, good phone, that is going to be ready to receive and make calls you can hear, this is it! My daughter has killed SEVERAL other brand phones. I needed this one for a replacement, and prior to this purchase my son had this same model Samsung SCH A650 for two and half years and he is ruthless, the phone stood strong! When my daughter killed her second phone in less than 6 months, I quickly remembered the great phone I purchased for my son, Samsung SCH A650, how well it held up both on phone workmanship and battery life. I bought as a replacement phone for my daughter, a Samsung SCH A650, It has been a year now and it is still aok! This phone would be a great replacement for somone who has lost broken or had ...
