g_loc is very kind and helpful, with his instructions, I was able to get to the broken part of my DS-510 scanner, after I received the replacement part (roller shafts), I noticed that the part is modified and it is stronger than the Epson original part.I was able to put in the new parts and tested the scanner, now it is working like new.
