Lovely fragrance - highly recomment
Loved the fragrance for years. Bought a previous one for my boyfriend as a present - he loves it as well. I bought this current one because I thought...hmmmmm...... need a smaller one for travel. To me 3.3/3.4 oz. bottle should be just right (using a shot glass measurement as a guide) but. NO.. it turns out it was the same large bottle I had previously bought - Oh well, guess it will just have to be packed in the checked baggage...Ha! Ha!. Loved the fragrance for years. Apparently, Lagerfeld Classic is one of those fragrances that needs to settle for several days after shipment. I sprayed it in the air right after receiving it and it smelled like a bad body odor highly perfumed. After several days of sitting on the shelf, the fragrance improved and was more pleasant. I wore two squirts to my chest today and was able to smell it initially, but now after a few of hours I am no longer able to smell it. However, I can smell Horizon from Guy Laroche, which I received yesterday and sprayed a small amount above my wrist. I liked the smell of Horizon straightway and am able to get a whiff now and then even after taking a shower this morning. When first sprayed Horizon, I thought that I was sent a bottle of water, because I smelled nothing. It took a ... Apparently, Lagerfeld Classic is one of those fragrances that needs to settle for several days after shipment. I have always liked the smell of Lagerfeld Cologne, My husband Mark who passed away two years ago always wore this cologne. It smelled so good on him. I wear it now because I have always liked it, its not overly strong and lasts all day long. Plus it reminds me of my late husband.
