Sweet Engine Paint
I love the DupliColor line of engine paints, used them a lot during the restoration of my two cars. In this case it was a good match for my water pump on my 1969, original paint will Bill Hirsch and that was not available so i tried this line. It was a bit brighter but my old one was 8 years old. So i cant fault them, mine likely dulled out.

Old Paint?
I think the paint was old and sitting for quite a while. The texture on my new oil pan came out like flat blue 100 grit sand paper. Now I have to wet sand and purchase a different brand of paint. The new pan was cleaned prior to primer and paint. The primer, Duplicolor brand, laid out nice and smooth. The paint...let the photos speak for themselves.
