    Very happy with this purchase

    This product is great, just used it for a weekend camping trip. It was a great option and getting more of the things there and still fitting an extra person in the car we weren't expecting to bring. The only thing I wish this could also be bundled with the roof moldings which are needed to be replaced when installing unless you drill small holes and don't intend to take it off. There about 15 bucks each at the dealership and that was an extra trip if it was bundled you wouldn't have to make.

    Easy install!

    I bought this rack for my 17 Mazda 3 GT Hatchback. Installation took me about 45 minutes including unboxing the rack and rails. The instructions were very detailed and easy to understand. Very high quality and the mounting to the roof is rock solid. Will be removed after ski season, but sure beats carrying skis inside the car.

    Great roof rack for Mazda 3

    I have a 2014 Mazda 3, 4 door sedan. I replaced the stock roof trim with the roof rack compatible ones and then installed the roof rack. It was all very easy with the included instructions. The rack performs very well and I have now hauled kayaks on the roof with ease. I use the Yakima jaylow racks which fit the whispbar cross racks perfectly.

    Straight Forward Installation

    The crossbars came one day earlier then expected and just in time. The installation took about 45 minutes because of the careful pace. They are quiet compared to other vehicle proprietary aluminum crossbars we installed on a past vehicle. Immediately mounted the Thule cargo box to the crossbars. Even with the wide design, the box clamps held securely. Due to the size of the box and the fixed mounting location of the crossbars, the rear hatch door rested against the box when open. Not a big deal and not the crossbar's fault. They are low enough profile that they look good on the car. Not sure how secure the side covers really are over the mounting hardware. On one of the we were able to access without the key. This may have been a fluke. Overall I'm pleased with the product.

    Genuine product for less money

    This is a real Mazda OEM roof rack which I believe is technically a Yakima Whispbar. Fits my 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback perfectly and looks great. Best price I've run into on the internet so far for this product. If you need one of these, get it here.
