    Modification required

    The ninty degree elbow in this part must be drilled out. It is not a working part has shipped. No fuel would flow without drilling. Second problem, the washer provided was not adequate to fill the void between this part and the fuel tank. Reuse of the old washer was required in addition to prevent leaking.

    Leaks fuel

    These are good quality, but the rubber seal is smaller than the OEM seal. Leaks fuel. You will have to go to an auto parts store and find the correct size seal for these to work without a fuel leak. Otherwise, they work great.

    Don't waste your time and money on this if you have an XR650R

    I was very disappointed, this petcock does not fit the XR650R as the outlet faces the wrong direction. The only saving grace was that I was able to borrow some parts off the new one to repair my original. As others have stated, the oring is not thick enough to seal between the valve and the tank.
