    It does work.

    It definitely works. The only other experience I have with aluminum welding.I was with a spool gun. But I have much experience with stick welding steel. And I have to say I simply ground as aluminum with a fresh flap, disc preheated it and kept my rod feed up and I made pretty freaking, not bad. Welds
