  • Guitar Strings

They were just what I wanted and was expecting. Can't beat the price. I am only a beginning player so while there are likely better strings, for me these fit my needs at this time. Easy to tune and hold their tuning. Would buy them again.

  • Great strings for Epiphone DR-100.....

I highly recommend these strings for darker sounding acoustics. I installed them on my new Epiphone DR-100, and they sound amazing. Much better than the factory strings, in my opinion. I normally like phosphor bronze acoustic strings, but I've found that the DR-100's sound better with the brighter 80/20 bronze strings. Full disclosure, I'm a big fan of Ernie Ball strings in general. I use exclusively the RPS Hybrid 9-46 strings on my electrics. Also highly recommended. Great price on the 3 packs of these. I also really like the 11-52 gauge, vs 12-54. Both sound great, but the slightly lighter gauge works best for me, since I play electric much more often than acoustic. Enjoy!!

  • I'm in love, and it feels soooo good!!

Such nice strings!! The tone and action are great, and the feel is very tactile, making bends, vibratos, and harmonic insertions perfect every time. They are not a hard wearing string, In fact, due to their soft feel construction, you will go through these fairly quickly depending on your playing style, and playing time. But I change strings often for recording purposes anyway, and the trade off is well worth it, as this vendor makes them so affordable. If you are going to get the most out of your playing time, keeping your instrument freshly strung will help you to become a more ear discriminant player. If you aren't listening closely to what's coming out of your instrument, and training yourself to make incremental adjustments to your playing style based on your ear feedback, you'll never improve much over time. Give these Earth-woods a try. You'll play better, and your fingertips will thank you in the long run. Best $15.00 you'll ever spend!

  • Quality strings at an affordable price

I have been using Ernie Ball strings for over 40 years. Have always found them to be some of the best brands out there. They sound great, stay in tune and are very affordable. These Earth Wood acoustic strings are what I use on my Martin and Guild guitars. I play a lot on my front porch and also record my original songs using these strings. The 3 pack is a great way to save some money and have an extra set or two on hand. Highly recommended. *****

  • For a very affordable set of strings these things produce. I have bought a dozen sets and all my guitars sound great. Highly recommended.

I have been using D'Addario strings for decades. I have been reading about these Earthwood strings and decided I would buy a 3 pack. Well, I am so impressed with them that I ordered 6 more sets. Great tone, and a great price. Try them, you will like them.

  • Sweet deal on what may be the best acoustic strings I've ever used

I've been playing guitar since 1969, and have used countless brands and varieties of acoustic guitar strings. My first go around with Earthwood strings was less than impressive, as I had the ball end fall off of the high E as I was removing it from the package. This put me off Earthwoods for a while, but when I came across an inexpensive project guitar a while back the only acoustic strings available to me at the time were Earthwoods. I bought that set out of necessity and strung the guitar up. I love the gauge of this set since it's only slightly heavier than the sets I've been using on my electrics for years and very comfortable to play, while not sacrificing much in the bottom end of the tone. I was thoroughly impressed with these strings to the point that they're now my go to acoustic strings. Naturally every guitar is going to sound slightly different and every player will have different taste in the way a set feels and sounds to them, but these are my favorite right now. Definitely worth a try if you've never tried them and are looking to replace a set.

  • good strings at a good price

Earthwood strings sound great to me and are long lasting. I usually use medium gauge but decided to try light. You sacrifice a little volume, but the lower tension makes bends easier and lowers the action a little on my Martin dreadnaught. This is the best price I could find for a tree set pack.

  • Easy Playing - 4 Star Tone

I tried these on a recommendation from a friend. I used to use Martin Strings with Medium/12 Gauge. I switched to these because it was a little hard on my hands to get through a full gig. I liked the tone on the Martins a little better but these come in at a close second in my opinion but gives me the options of doing easier bends and double stops. I tried the "one" set before ordering the "three". Recommend doing the same. Great value for the $.

  • Ernie Ball Earthwood light acoustic strings

Has always been my favorite strings... I'm in my sixties now... Locally the price is as much as twenty bucks a set... Under fifteen dollars for three sets!!! What is there to complain about?? Best strings to buy!!! Beautiful sound!!!

  • These light gauges can take a beating!

I play professionally and have been using these strings for years. I used to use the extra light gauge version of these, but they were too delicate for my playing style and I'd constantly break the G string. These are a good compromise of strength and good sound. I play very hard and these hold up to 3 hours of playing per gig. At around $5 per set, I can afford to restring before every show!
