    I mistakingly thought they lit up as the pic shows them illumated but I do have bad eyes, cannot exchange as to expensive to return, contacted seller who was very nice who suggested I could buy lights and sew them on but as I have bad eyes a no no, they are very good quality I should have read the description with help but wanted them to be a surprise for a fancy dress so didn't tell anyone, I will be keeping them as I hate stated good quality will come in usefull
