    Valve Block seal kit if you take your time.. well worth it

    I had to rebuild my valve block (VB) twice... mostly because my VB had been rebuild prior to me getting the car and it was missing some spacers. I tried using worn seals the 1st time for spaces and also really forced on of the solenoids when trying to put back together. It didn't work out so well, but that wasn't the VB kits fault. Take your time.. I would buy extra clips and spacers and the kit will work.

    90% Complete

    The kit is packaged well and ALMOST complete. It should be noted in the description that the seals that seal out the weather for the solenoids are not included. Mine were dried and cracked and had to source new ones. Yes, a large "O" ring will work. If your going to use the word COMPLETE, be complete. If one is going this deep for a repair, one wants COMPLETE. I was a little disappointed after disassembling to find out I had to shop for more "O" rings.

    Prefer green

    I have had Kirill rebuild both of my valve blocks about 1-2 years ago. Then I had a strut go out and after that the valve started leaking.I thought I would try rebuilding it myself. I had the green nitrile kit that I purchased from him and now it works like a charm. I just purchased 2 more green nitrile o'ring kits. I received 2 black o'ring sets. Not happy about that! I would much prefer the green ones. I have 2 spare blocks that I purchased on e-bay for next to nothing and I have them ready to go with a new kit installed. Now, when the car starts leaking down, I will just swap out the block!

    Whoever thot of marketing just the o-ring seals for the valve body is genius. My Euro mechanic tried to eye ball some other o-rings on Mer. valve body and they immediately began leaking. Not so with the green nitrile o-rings!
