    Sharp and Sturdy

    I purchased Nail trimmers from another source. They broke after cutting the second nail on My German Shepard. I ordered these and was able to complete the trimming job without a problem! Sharp and Sturdy These were a great value and should last for many trimmings to come!!

    Poorly designed, hard to use.

    No disrespect meant for the seller, who shipped these quickly, but I would not buy these again. I have a 12 lb long haired dachshund who puts up a pretty good fight when it's time to clip her nails, so an easy to use, well designed clipper is very important to have. This one is not. I wear a women's size large glove, and the clipper handles are uncomfortably wide in my hand. The blades don't fully separate, leaving the groomer with the unenviable task of getting a wriggling, protesting dog's claw exactly into place into the closed circle made by the 2 blades. The only plus is the blades are sharp, but that's not enough to go through this agonizing task, or put my dog through it again. I really do not recommend these clippers.

    Worst dog nail clippers EVER

    I have been involved with dogs for decades and I have cut many dog toenails. I think this nail trimmer could be used on very large or giant dog breeds maybe. I bought them to use on dogs that are from 4lbs. to 25lbs. and they are too wide to fit the nails between the toes. Also the handles are thin and flat so they don't fit my hand as well as a thick sturdy handle. I bought a different nail clipper that is great. I am disappointed that I wasted my money on this pair.

    "JUST NIP IT"

    I have been using this style for over 40 years. Nothing out there cuts like these. I have Basset Hounds and their nails can get very thick as they get older. I have tried heavy duty cutters from other manufacturers and the majority do not cut quickly as these do. The dogs sense what you are about to do to them and resist you intensions. If the cutter does not cut quickly then the slowness of the cutting action traumatizes the poor hound and probably crushes the nail increasing the pain. I fully recommend this brand of nail trimmers over any other out there. The price is affordable and your dog will love you for it.
