    Tested tough over long term exposure to multiple impacts.

    I use this product to protect the exposed metal edge of equipment that see numerous impacts. I have never experienced at type of failure or flaw after lengthy use for this purpose. I recommend this product without reservation.

    3M 4 door Edge Guard comes up short

    Well, it ACTUALLY comes up "narrow". This is made by 3M using their high grade paint protecting self adhesive film. It's a wonderful product......2 of our 3 cars have the whole front ends covered, and we love it! But these door edge guard strips are only 1/4 inch wide.....barely enough to give the door edge substantial protection. I was forced to over-lap 2 on each door....using ALL 4 - overlapping them to get enough protection coverage.. Thank goodness there were 4 strips total. These things need to be AT LEAST 1/2 inch wide to allow for "back-side overlap". AND.......for $10.?! Not again.

    Easy installation

    Easy to install,need to be careful making sure clean hands. Like that there were 4 separate strips, one for each door. Thought the strips were flimsy, hope they can take an accidental bump.

    Decent but not “clear”

    Relatively easy to work with and adhesive works well. Only issue is that the film has a haze to it and quite noticeable on my black car.

    Aaaaalmoooost Had It

    it wasnt wide enough nor thick as it should be to protect against anything really. IMO its more of a cover up vs a protector of sorts. now incr the width by 1/2" and the thickness and it would be a great product. nevertheless I shoulda listened to the reviews as this one missed the mark by alot aka 4th & goal and dropped pass
