BLOOD BROTHERS, a documentary on Bruce Springsteen's 1995 recording sessions with the E Street Band (for several new songs included on Springsteen's GREATEST HITS), also includes the music videos for "Murder Inc." and "Secret Garden." The VHS version also contains a bonus CD-5 with rare and previously-unreleased songs ("Blood Brothers," "Without You," "Secret Garden," "High Hopes" and a live version of "Murder Inc."). The laser-disc version does not include the CD-5.Personnel: Bruce Springsteen (vocals); Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Max Weinberg, Steve Van Zandt.This documentary charts the reunion of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and PCM Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed-captions on this release. Supplemental materials include instant access to individual songs and full lyrics to the songs. This Sony Music release is outstanding for Springsteen enthusiasts, but there is little here for the average DVD consumer. ~ Perry Seibert
