Outstanding eBay seller. Goods delivered as described in a timely and safe fashion. Regarding the charges for eBays Global Shipping Program delivery costs were $17.66 - my other purchases of similar pins are delivered for $2- $3 eBay's Global Shipping Program is costly and no faster or cheaper than regular mail. As a result I have curtailed my eBay purchases to goods that cannot be purchased anywhere else.

Item was exactly as described. Seller was very easy to work with and responded very quickly. The seller went above and beyond to package the clock to ensure that it was well protected while being shipped. I would definitely recommend this seller and would buy from them again!

    Ok for basic pics

The biggest advantage of this camera is the size...you can stuff it in a pocket but its still fairly "meaty" to hold for a compact. Would prefer SD storage to the over-priced Sony"memory stick". Otherwise, the camera is pretty easy to use and takes good basic photos. Perfect for a vacation or weekend trip, but youll have higher resolution using slmost any modern cell phone.

  • Top of the line camera in its hey day, now very outdated and obsolete.

It amuses me to think that someone might read a review of an eight year old camera, and amuses me even more that I'm writing it. The stand out features of the V1 are it's build quality (it's very sturdy, no creaks, with ten visible screws holding the metal shell to the plastic core), infrared mode, and laser assisted autofocus. It's an incredibly capable camera but don't expect image quality miracles. Erognomics are crap, with a very uncomfortabe grip. Don't even think about trying to operate this camera one handed. It has the trademark small sensor softness and low iso noise. If you can score it for under sixty bucks toss it in your backpack as your knockaround take anywhere camera. That's what I've done.

  • Sony CyberShot DSC V1

With it's semi-compact body and full load of functions, the 5 megapixel V1 is a nice walk-around camera. I have a Sony Alpha with a full compliment of lenses but it's not practical to carry it all the time. I do, however, carry a camera nearly everywhere I go. Features such as nightshot, nightframing and multiple priority settings make this little mule a perfect companion for everyday use. The Carl Zeiss lens captures detail that gets missed by many point and shoot cameras. Don't let the "5" mp sensor lull you into thinking you can't get nice prints from this camera. The results will compare to many 8-10 mp compact cameras.

  • Sony DSC-V1 Old but Gold

I believe the DSC-V1 was one of the 1st Sony's Prosumer camera and the "night framing" and "night shot" are useful functions which most newer models are missing. Although it can't match with a professional DSLR, this little 8yrs old "Monster" is equipe with lots of functions and controls which enables it to capture marvelous shots with it's Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens. The Hotshoe is something which I would definitely look for when considering a camera and the ability to manually set the desire aperature and speed is also a must have for most photographer. Overall, I have been a happy user for almost 8yrs and I bought a 2nd DSC-V1 for my son to learn the principals of photography.

  • Sony Cyber-shot DSC-V1 5.0

I had owned one of these cameras for many years but unfortunately it was stolen a short time ago. The reason I went out and searched for another is because the quality of the pictures from this camera is amazing. It is an extremely simple camera to operate with a relatively easy menu system. If you have the wires to hook it up to the computer, then you will also find it very simple to transfer your pictures. If you are looking for a good camera at a reasonable price, do not overlook this particular model. A lot of cameras now days will try to amaze you with their 12 MP, but if you are not a photographer there hits a point where that is not going to show up as drastic as you would think. Do yourself a favor and check out this camera!
