    From a Real Life Retired Army Tank COMMANDER !

    I am a 21 year retired Army Tank Commander , Tank Platoon Sergeant and Abrams Master Gunner. This is WW2 and I am a Desert Storm Vet . But the story of the movie is depicted as it is even to this day. The soldiers of this lifestyle are hard , rugged individuals who dare to stand between the Enemies of America and our way of life. We are fully aware of the life risk we take. But our desire to defeat our enemy is greater than our desire to preserve our own lives . AND we should be thanked instead looked down upon by lesser non service citizens who only desire to fullfil their own selfish goals in life.

    FURY-Sherman Usless Tank, Especially against Tiger Tanks

    Costumes authentic. BAD Language and allot of Self Righteous Killing. German soldier with an American wool coat shot in the back. Loader of Sherman tank main gun afterword put on a German coat and helmet. Was Not shot. at the end the Sherman tank was disabled by road mine. Instead of getting out of the area the hero, an actor, Brad Pit was going to by himself take on 300 battle hardened Waffen SS storm Troopers and his 5 Crew decided to join him. DUMB in real life. So, before they were all killed, including the Actor Hero and the crew they must of killed 200 Crack Hard Troops. Hollywood make believe for sure. Bah! Not real life!

    Worth watching despite the excessive profanity

    I believe that the movie attempts to portray the life and trials of tank crewmen. That is its significant accomplishment, in my opinion. The gratuitous use of profanity and the frequency did not enhance my perception of the reality but detracted from it a great deal. Overall, a very good story with enough human-interest angles to keep the viewer on edge and wanting more. As a mature adult, I do not consider excessive profanity as adding to the realism of the picture. I put up with it, but I can see how the film could have been made much better without every third word being a swear word.

    Thought I was buying a copy I could download and save on my PC

    I had never bought a digital copy before and thought it was downloadable and I would have the movie on my PC to view when I wanted. Turns out it is only online and has to stream each time you watch so netflix would be a better choice for the price. You have to log in to the Company's web site to view. Not a good deal when you can order the DVD for a couple dollars more.

    Hard Core History

    A movie that depicts the "Sherman" tank in combat with the far superior German tanks,, thousands of American troops died in the Sherman, nick named "The Ronson" after the ronson cigarette lighter the troops used because it "lit on the first try".. I do not believe that the FU*K word was used by that generation, and it is used way too much in this movie.
