    Shop Fox 1/2 HP Benchtop Drill press

    Shop Fox sells quality tools and this little drill press is no exception!! Stout construction and a powerful motor are pluses for this little workhorse!! The chuck has nearly zero run out so I can drill precision holes with 1/16 bit. I've not yet used the sanding option.

    Pillar drill that performs with variable speeds.

    If you are looking for an inexpensive plllar drill that is well made and a quality bed this is it. I have used this bench top drill for fine drilling and its operation is easy and smooth with very little vibration. The quality is very good with safety features that are easy to operate and not obtrusive. Speeds are changeable at the top and it comes with instructions on assembly. All parts are covered in protective grease and arrives in a heavy packaging to avoid damage in transit. The drill chuck is a high quality affair for easy drilling. Chuck key supplied. I bought a quality vice clamp for drill bed that fitted perfectly to stop work moving around. It is an excellent workshop advantage, easily installed with all that is needed to start work within 1/2 an hour. Powered lead etc... I ...

    Good product, needs fine tuning.

    Only three stars because the base is a press fit. Put it on a flip bench and it went crashing to the floor. Drilled holes and tapped them for set screws.
