Impressive Little Monocular
I usually don't write reviews, but I always read them to see how other people like a product that I may purchase. Let me start by saying I like this Moncular Night Vision Scope. I have purchased a more expensive and better Night Scope for my guns, but I wanted a smaller one to look through without raising my gun to see if any activity was near. This Night Scope will easily let you see 150+ yards with a green tint to any image. You can easily focus the distance by turning the front & back eye pieces to the required focus level (some reviews had issues with it not focusing properly....works fine if done properly or by the directions) I highly recommend and wanted to write this review for anyone else that might have any doubts about this item.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I would give it 5 stars if you could use it in the Daytime I did and almost broke it. Still works but not as good as when I bought it. The infrared ok
The best one to buy is one that works in the day time as well as night time this one doesn't. I almost broke mine because I used it in the morning. It still works at night but not as well as when I first got it. The infrared works great. It says almost in fine print not to use it in the daytime. Gets the job done.
Good quality product. Definitely good between 100-200 yards & under. It will get the job down. I bought this so I could scout for incoming animals while night hunting. Then quickly switch to the night vision scope on my rifle. It keeps me from constantly having to hold the rifle. I wish it had a picatinny rail attached. I'm pretty sure it would allow me to see even further with a more powerful IR illuminator. I'll probably attach a rail to it somehow. Image is clear once you focus both ends for distance. Absolutely fantastic for an entry level NV optic.
Man for the price its spectacular. Focus is great. Buttons work great. Im super pleased with this product. Took it into the pitch black garage and turned it on and saw not too much and so I turned on the IR light and bam that garage was light up like the lights were on. For those still hesitate to buy this. Dont !! Before i buy it i read all the reviews on internet. After buying and using here is my opinion. 1) the view is super clean. If you focus properly you get the result. Some say, it was all blur. Here is why they think. They dont adjust both front and rear lens properly. 2) some say "it didnt turn off" it does turn off. However here is the deal, when you either turn off or even remove the batteries it may perform if the light sufficient. It doesnt mean its working. Mine still gives nv greenis view even when i remove the batteries after using. So if the green power light is off it is off. 3) ir light is definitely visible. If its matter think twice 4) i would give 9/10 to view clearity. Personally im super satisfied with the view quality. 5) although its a great design, i found that when i hold the device with my right hand, my left hand blocks the ir light when using my left hand to focus front lens. Basic, perfect, and beautiful
I purchase the Fairfield 50 mm monocular night vision. I am a complete nervous at night vision IR all of it. I found my choices bewildering there are just so many of them to choose from and I found this little baby. It seemed so basic and with a 50 mm lens, I'd give it a shot. this sucker is crystal clear and I mean close up far away it doesn't matter the only thing it needs really is an extra illuminator to see how far out I can get. I've got a hundred fifty foot of darkness and I could see well into 120' with an extra illuminator I have no idea how far I can go. all I know is I am impressed as a first time buyer and I would buy this baby again as a gift for anybody. Affordable night vision
I've read a bunch of reviews for the Firefield 2 5x50 before purchasing one myself. I haven't experienced one downside to this product. It performs exactly as they say it will. The description is on point. The dual focus allows for fine tuning. I didn't expect it to dial in on a dime at 400ft and it doesn't. But I can see a coyote at 1/3 of a mile under a tree at midnight on a cloudy night. All in all, I would recommend this product. It is well worth the affordable price!
