After the death of his father, young David Balfour goes to live with his greedy uncle, who arranges to have David kidnapped and sold into indentured servitude. On the sea David runs into Alan Breck, a rebellious rogue who agrees to help reclaim the boy's rightful inheritance.     Disney's Robert Louis Stevenson's kidnapped DVD.

    Robert Louis Stevenson wrote Treasure Island and 3 years later he wrote Kidnapped, so it makes sense that this movie (Kidnapped) is similar to Treasure Island. It is about a young man named David. The story starts off when David's father dies, and David has to now live with his uncle. David soon finds out that his uncle is not a kind man, and he is poor. David inherited the house in which his uncle lives in, but he is not willing to part with the house. The uncle tricks David onto a ship. Once David was on the ship, his uncle sailed away leaving David behind. David must find his way back home inorder to claim his inheritance. This Leads to a journey on the high seas, and on land. He eventually makes it back home, where he tricks is uncle into admitting that he had David kidnapped. In the ...

    Disney's movie Kidnapped 1960's version

    I hadn't seen this movie in a very long time but decided to add it to my Disney movies collection, I am glad I did, I saw actors I haven't seen in years kind of like seeing old friend from long ago. Would like to get the 1970's version as well. I may purchase it later sometimes down the road. If you want the older Disney's movies for your collections I would recommend this one.
