Jaipur Pour Homme by Boucheron - A Pleasing Classic Scent With Its Own Identity
This cologne was a blind buy based on two trusted YouTube recommendations. I was looking for a clean fresh scent that was "different" from the other scents in this class. For the cost (about $30), I was willing to take a chance. I was very pleasantly surprised by this cologne! To my nose, the top, middle, and base notes were all very pleasing and enjoyable (a nice mix of Lemon/Lemon Verbena; Cinnamon and Nutmeg; base notes are Vanilla and Woodsy Notes). It doesn't smell synthetic and doesn't overpower. It's a great office scent, but it also works in other everyday settings. On my skin and clothes, the projection and sillage is great. I would say anyone in your personal space (2-3 feet) will smell and probably enjoy this scent. On me, it lasts about 4-7 hours. I liked it so much, I bought another bottle right away. Jaipur is my Favorite!!! I have been wearing it for about 20 years and always, always get lots of compliments. Stays with me for a good 3-4 hours.
Never in my life out of the many colognes that I have worn over the years JAIPUR gets me the most Compliments. People love it. You have to remember the person wearing it is not going to be able to smell it like someone else next to you!! Totally underrated gem- One of the best orientals out there!
To start off, I would encourage everyone to check the batch number and ensure perfumes are real while buying from Ebay. If it doen't last long and you can't find the batch number engraved in the bottle, you probably got a copy version made in Dubai. Saying this because I found a Chanel no 5 purchased from Ebay was fake with no batch number printed and bottle design different from a real one. Now coming to Jaipur by Boucheron EDP, Oh man! This is the smell of heaven. This is my first purchase from the house of Boucheron! Being originally from India, this oriental scent suits me well and I strongly believe that it's suitable for men above 25 and classy. Jaipur is a western Indian city famous for its roots and ancestry and royal experience and this perfume embodies the whole experience with its top, heart, and base notes. I can't get enough of this, and it lasts really really long. Only 2-3 sprays are sufficient. Absolutely awesome fragnance. I got the EDP tester, and I'm totally satisfied.
