The bow is pretty decent, especially for the size and price. The optical sight is crappy, and installing it requires either replacing or cutting off a screw that's in the way. (note to seller: providing that replacement screw would be a good idea...), I'd recommend just using the original sights - not like it's going to have the range to need a red dot sight.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well for a first time, really getting involved with this kind of weapon.. AWESOME,, its fun shoots pretty dam good. the hardest thing was stringing it. i saw a video on you tube, putting a string on it and cocking it back, then put you can put the right string on, just make sure to put the first string out of the way. cuz it wasn't easy cutting it out...ha So all in all good deal.. think i'm going to order some more arrows, and from this same place.. thanks guys. i was worried about wasting money on this, and had alot of question, i wrote them and they answered most. and i'm a happy camper..... get yourself some.. just incase (not) Biden tries get your 9 mm.. hahhahha..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a awesome little crossbow. It is small but powerful in many ways. Toy like but this crossbow is not a toy. It has good accuracy for short range. Plenty of power for a small crossbow. stringing
for anyone having trouble stringing the bow try this. if you have a bar stool lay it down on its side and and place the bow on the legs of the stool pushing down towards the ground have a friend easily slip the string on the end. it might sound like a strange way to do it but i was worried it might hurt someone if i tried it any other way plus it bends both ends of the bow evenly. hope this helps also if you get the scope as part of the package you have to leave the screw that holds the safety on the bow so make sure and take off completely one of the screws on the scope mount to slide it on the bow as there are no instructions with the scope on how to mount it. one more thing the switch on the scope for the red dot light is pretty cheap so you might as well go ahead and get some super glue and put it on the sides of where it mounts to the scopeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Self Cocking Pistol Crossbow
Im still using the manual sights but after adjusting them it shoot very accurate. Lots of power and very easy to cock. I believe you need the self cocking it would be hard to cock without. Its very hard to string so you will need some help with that. It sets the safety when you cock it and all you have to do to shoot is push safety forward. Awesome product!
This is an awesome product and value for the investment. Like all bows you need to make sure and get the wax for the string and guiderail to keep it maintained properly. I did have to do a bit of finagling with the sight to get it seated properly as there weren't great instructions on how to do so. But other then that...it is extremely accurate and fun to shoot. It is NOT a toy! Also the plastic arrows hold up longer for what it is worth. If you wish to shoot small game with hunting style broadheads then you need to get the longer 18" arrows that extend beyond the sights and end of the bow to accomodate them.
