It serves the purpose
I haven't used it very much but so far it is serving the purpose. I had bought a similar one but it did not work because only one side was moving. It seems like this machine is not very sturdy so I guess it depends on how lucky you are when you receive it. I was lucky with this one. Okay shuffler
The shuffler worked great the first day. Next day it lost a lot of torque. I took it apart and applied grease to all the axels and now it works fine. That is, it works fine as long as you use plastic coated playing cards. Once that plastic coating starts to wear off, I'm sure it wouldn't have the pull to get the cards through the chamber. For a 2 deck game of Canasta, the shuffler requires 4 or 5 run throughs. First running the cards through face up, cutting the deck and then a run through with the cards facing down. So far, it saves a lot of time. Fun to play with, but its cheap and as always, you get what you pay for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Short use expectancy.
Would have been great if the feed wheels were round instead of shaped like eggs. This caused it not to shuffle as well as it could. In fact, it could not grasp the cards to shove them into the shuffling box when they stopped with the low side up. Otherwise, in the few times it worked it worked well. You get what you pay for.
This is an example of "You get what you pay for". I'm not concerned by the noise it makes, or the cheap plastic hollow feel of it since they all are like this. This one just doesn't like to shuffle the cards. Which, as you would figure by the name, is its main purpose. It does shuffle some cards. I'll give it that. But it will take a chunk of the stack at random and pull it into the center. Or it will stop pulling from one side and just work on the other. Cheap not reliable dont reccomend

Pass this one up

Very poor quality.
Worked one time then that was the end of it. Very poor quality. Only one side would take the cards in. The other side will not work. Can not use with only one side.
