These Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s are a great way to get that vintage 1950s single-coil sound. This set of three pickups uses the highest quality materials. The Alnico 5 magnets will help you to hit those bass notes. Formvar magnet wire is used in winding them. The middle pickup is reverse-wound to limit humming noises. These Fat 50s have been designed to look authentic, too, in aged white. They are great for blues and rock guitarists.Product Identifiers

Is a used set with a broken bridge pickup and thats the best i can tell you.

What a Strat is supposed to sound like.
These are the pickups that make a Strat sound like a Strat. Bright, "clucky", "quacky". If you want a fat, mellow sound, look elsewhere. If the sound is too crisp, you can always dial it back, but you can't make muddy pickups sound good. I've replaced the boutique pickups in my Strats with Fat 50s.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
