    MagSafe to MagSafe 2 converter

    In typical Apple fashion, they come up with something new that doesn't work with older versions of their product, thus the need to adapt MagSafe power chords to the newer MagSafe 2 design. Fortunately the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 converter I have had to replace several, and they are always expensive. When I accidentally purchased a MagSafe power cord works perfectly. It stays connected to both the power cord and the computer and it is very easy to use. The weak link in Apple Laptop computers has always been their power cords. When I accidentally purchased the wrong cord for my Macbook, I was able to save the day by purchasing the MagSafe to MagSafe 2 converter. It saved me a lot of money by not having to buy an entire new power supply .

    Reanimate Dead Technology

    Amazing. Before I had 3 obsolete chargers in perfect in condition that were stuck in the back of a drawer, useless to me! Then my current charger for my Macbook Retina went out. It was pretty easy deciding for a $6 fix or spending $90 for a new charger. These things are amazing. And they were made by Apple! I was able to resurrect 3 dead chargers from my technology graveyard and now I have 3 viable chargers instead of one dead laptop! Great deal for these from Best Buy on Ebay!

    Clever Idea Saves Money, Environment

    This is a great idea. I have wondered what I should do with all the old MagSafe power cords I have left over from earlier Macs, and at the same time, I've resisted buying all the MagSafe cords I need for my current Mac (a cord for my home office; a cord for the car when I run out of power when I am out and about; a cord for work so I don't have to lug one back and forth, etc.). These clever devices are pretty cheap and let me continue to use my old cords instead of them ending up in a landfill somewhere.

    Great alternative to expensive magsafe 2 charger

    If you are upgrading from an older macbook pro to a newer model, this $10 adapter is a great alternative to spending $70 for a brand new magsafe 2 charger.

    Adapter converter

    I thought it was a total loss when I got an L-type charger instead of the T one. I don't plan to return it anymore as the return label would set me back for another $6 and the charger's cost was just <$8. But then upon further searching I came across this adapter converter and voila, laptop was up and running. Magcozy strap ensures the small converter will not get lost. Gracias!
