    These andirons are as described, and I Try glad I purchased them. The seller wrapped each handle separately and they are in excellent condition. I have no idea how this happened, because the seller went above and beyond to pack the rods and stand well too, but the rod attached to the stand was bent slightly in the shipping. I was able to repair most of it and the seller was gracious and understanding about the issue. Fantastic, honest seller and I hope to be a repeat customer. Thank you.

    Home shop use

    I have never got it to stop drifting, and the reference oscillator is trimmed by a weird tool, but for the home shop it holds within 3 Hz at 10 Mhz. If I could trim the oscillator better I think I might gain a Hz but not by a large amount. All that said it is a shop not a lab piece of test equipment and will serve you well. I prefer the "C" or "D" models for the ease of calibration.

    Maybe good for VHF frequencies.

    General use, No TCXO, not as accurate and had trouble reading steady. My Optoelectronics 3000 gave me steady and accurate readings. I was using this counter to measure 800/900 Mhz. Claims upto 2.4 ghz range???. I Bought at a good price, so I got what I paid for.
