Factory new. Will fit first generation Astro with modification.
I installed this on a 1993 Chevy Astro. I think it will drop right into a second generation Astro (95-05) but for first gen’s like mine you have to cut the lower horizontal pice that it latches to. Also, make sure to save the clip that held on your old one. You will reuse it. Definitely better then taking a chance on a junkyard part.

Does not include retainer clip
This latch does not use a key. You can move your old key tumbler over to this one or just use it without a lock. This new one does not come with a retainer clip. Exercise care removing your old latch. You must reuse the old retainer clip. This new latch fit the hole in glovebox door and functions as well as original.
