Clear and effective protection
My goggles came with tinted and clear lenses. Both provided clear vision without distortion from side to side and bottom to top. Fit and finish is excellent. The elastic band is wide and did not become uncomfortable during prolonged use. The cleaning/lens protection cloth worked well, however since it sits on the back of the head, it won’t work well for long. Also, the goggles impede wearing a baseball cap and certain head gear. Extra lenses seem expensive, but the quality seems good, so I do think they will not scratch /damage easily. The included denier storage case attaches with molly securely. Lastly, they are bulky but provide great clarity without fogging or discomfort. I find I wear these without fogging, comfortably, and they do not shift during strenuous or sudden movements. They are not inexpensive, but they are well built, provide clarity, protection and functionality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

ESS is good kit
ESS is a big contractor for the USG. They make very high quality eye wear. I would cite as an example of a corporate failing that they have withdrawn their laser protective eyewear goggles for civilian purchase. I guess civilians don't have a right to be protected from infrared lasers. So for that reason they should be chastised. Still, they are very comfortable mil-spec and you aren't likely to find more operator kit in this hemisphere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
