    The condition was as advertised, new out of box. It had a couple of scratches on the rod mount, but the seller explained those were from his display mounts in his shop. Otherwise it was factory, with OEM grease still visible. Seller initially forgot to pack the bearing screw cap, but sent this along free of charge after I pointed out the missing item. Overall great communication from the seller. I used the reel this weekend and it worked perfectly.
