    Over cooking is now history

    Love sous vide cooking? The 16 L capacity allows me to cook a lg. brisket or 2 or 3, 1 &1/2 inch tomahawk steaks or a large pork shoulder (don't forget to smoke it first, then sous vide, and finish it off by charring that brisket or steaks). = inch thick tomahawk steaks

    Decent product. Expensive for what it is.

    First off, this container is large. But that’s why I got it. Only issue is that the container walls are not stiff enough. When it is full to the level of the rack, the sides bow and the rack and lid don’t fit right. Not a major fault, but if your cook floats and you want to use the rack to keep it submerged, you need to fill it that high. A smarter design would allow the rack to be placed at variable height in the container. Otherwise, I love it. 48hrs at 125 and I did not ever have to add water to cook a 6# beef shoulder. After a good sear on the gasser it ate like prime rib. And because I had the container, I was able to make soup at the same time! I also like being able to see my cook. Pretty nice.

    Anova cooking container

    Great device for Sous vide. Takes long time to hear the water unless you put hot water in every time. It has to be full for the hold down to be effective.. that’s a lot of water.

    The product does what it's supposed to do, hold water and let the sous vide do its thing. My only issue is that the metal insert that's meant to hold food down doesn't lock into place, so food will push it right up so it doesn't do it's job very well.
