very portable
This is a great device and works well for my arthritis in my neck except for the placement. I have to put a shirt and usually a jacket on for the weight for the control to make contact for it to work properly. it wouldn't lay properly on my shoulder because it's too bony so I had to place it across my back just below my neck low enough to get it as flat as possible to make connection. Pad Coverage Receive 1 Medium size pad in package, may not cover enough of your aching area. Refill pads While there are refill pads, maybe due to expiration date or pads not being sticky anymore, it's not necessary to purchase... Peel the supposedly sticky part off & apply generous amount of Aloe Very Gel or any lotion to pad to help adhere to your skin. Back Pain Relief
I bought this device for my wife not expecting too much. She has occasional back pain so why not try a simple solution. Easy to use and pads are really sticky and stay in place. Initial setting on 15 out of 60 and it did work. Only stays on for 30 minutes but relief after 3-4 minutes. She's happy so I'm happy ! I am currently suffering from nerve pain in my lower back, this does seem to calm it down, it doesn't completely get rid of it but it but makes the pain bare able. I prefer this than keep rubbing ointments on it every day. I like how you can set the settings to low and increase it by the pain severity. It gives light pulses at lower setting and really strong pulses at higher settings. I vary from low to high depending on my need. I gave this product a 4 star rating simply because it does not get rid of the pain even though I think this is not for nerve pain it does calm it down or at least makes me forget about it and just feel the pulses when I'm wearing it. I would recommend this to people dealing with nerve pain that don't want to go with creams and ointments route. This is a natural and free of all the chemicals way of relieving some of the pain associated with nerve pain. All in all a great product, well built and you can also buy extra pads when the need arise. I love this product. It reminds me of the "TENS" therapy I've had at a chiropractor for lower back and hip pain. The unit is quite easy to use. Despite any problems with this it helps with the pain which is most important and the reason for using it!
The pad moves because we move and fabric from what we wear gets into the edges of the periphery of the pad, but most important this helps with the pain. Another problem was being able to know what my fingers were feeling in order to turn it on and turn the strength up on it. But I understand why the buttons are flat because there would be a problem if they weren't I suppose? If you have moderate to minor body aches and pains, you gotta try this product. i have purchased a few of them and use it regularly as need. i have seen more complicated products that say they do the same thing, but cost a lot more. Best all day pain relief
I have l4 and l5 issues and a little over weight so for weeks i been having major pain in my lower back. Medication would dull the pain but not make it go away. SO I bought this and it was a great value. When I know I am going to have one of those physical days I put it on and leave it on all day turning it on only when the pain starts to happen and it just melts away the pain. Now I hardly use it.
