    Great pickups, a little pricey

    Excellent pickups...all across the spectrum. Powerful bass response, smooth and clear midrange, cutting and thick highs. A bit overpriced, as all name brand pickups are, but I picked up this pair for $100 used, so that was a fair price. I play mostly rock and metal, and these are great for me. I bought them for a Jackson Rhoads flying V. I highly recommend them.

    I love them over my stock pickups

    I bought a DBZ (Dean B Zelinksy) now Diamond guitars model Royale FM in Tobacco. Excellent Korean made guitar but the pickups never meshed with me. I wanted it to sound more Les Paul-ish. The pickups that came with it are well made by G&B but seemed more geared for metal. Triple ceramic bridge and alnico neck. These pickups give this great guitar Body and Neck a more traditional sound. I love them both, in humbucker and even split coil. The thin large body on this guitar has resonance for days due to its unique shape despite being light. I took a chance and love this guitar. The neck and hardware is great too. The JB and Jazz set are Seymour Duncan favorite combination so what more is there to say? I still wonder about the 59 in the neck instead but I love the SH-2 Jazz so I am ...

    Better than most.

    We use it in a Millstone.Guitars model 886 guitar. Wonderful pounding bass as well as sharp crisp overtones on all the notes on that guitar. You can see it on Millstone.Guitars web site. It is a slimline Hollowbody Archtop with double cutaway. We also uise Seymour Duncan pickups in our 4 and 5 string bases and in our 7 string thruneck and our 7 string bolt on neck guitars.

    You can't find more expressive pickups at any price

    For what I do, these are as good as it can ever get. I have outfitted three of my main axes with this same set and I let the wood and size of each guitar express itself through the sensitivity of these pickups.
