    Don't EVER Lose Data, Working On Your Computer When The Power Goes Out!

    Buying one of these used is the only way to go. Brand new, they usually go for $80-$100. If you end up needing a replacement battery, you can get one for under $20 and basically have a brand new unit again. These are invaluable if your power ever goes out. I have four battery backups, ones for each of my kids' and my computers, as well as one for our cable modem and router. We have summer thunderstorms in central Florida. With these, our internet is virtually storm proof.

    Happy with my replacement ups.

    My APC ups finally died after many years of service (it would not charge the battery anymore). Still had one spare battery. For the price this replacement UPS was a fantastic purchase save me about $40 to $50 on buying a new APC 550.
