Timeless reading for both children and adults.
I read Cat Club stories to our daughter when she was a little girl. She is over 50 now. The Cat Club book brings back cherished memories of time spent with my young child. The colorful stories keep a child's interest. The cats have individual personalities. Esther Averill is an excellent author. Her stories are timeless. Timeless children's literature!
The stories about Jenny Linsky were favorites of mine when I was young. I hadn't read them for nearly 50 years, until I bought this book (out of nostalgia). The stories stand up to the test of time, and are still as fun and sweet as I remember them back in the day. I think these stories explain why I grew up to be a cat person. Jenny and the Cat Club is a wonderful story of a little black cat who conquers her fears.
A wonderful story of a little black cat and how she overcomes her fear of not being popular. I have a copy printed in 1944 and read the book to my children and always loved it.
