      Happy to have saved money!

      I already had a HomePatrol I I'd bought when it first came out (HP II is now out) and was very happy with it. I had 5 other non digital scanners that I sold to buy this one because my city/county is going digital later this year. This refurbished scanner works just as well as my other one and I saved quite a bit of money. I had checked with Uniden to be sure the one I already had would operate on the P 25 digital system so buying another HP I saved me about $200 since I didn't need the newer HP II. I checked it as soon as I received it to see if the software needed to be upgraded but that had already been taken care of. Very happy with the seller.       Great little item. For me it's perfect picks up all the local channels I want to listen too. The auto programming works great too. The free programming software make it even easier to program and update. I ended up getting an antenna update which seems to have improved the channel quality on some of the stations. The only thing I think it's a little pricey. No problems so far, working great. I did buy a refurbished unit....

      Good price for quality rebuilt product

      It is a snap to program and the only problem is if you want to use it to it's full abilities there is a learning curve. But for basic scanning you can't screw it up.
