Pilot a state-of-the-art helicopter through missions of furious conflict and grave near-future disaster in this combat flight sim for the PC. Veterans at NovaLogic have developed a strong following for their long-running Comanche series and have designed Comanche 4 to live up to high expectations. This 2001 release features the RAH-66 Comanche in the title role; an advanced craft designed by Boeing-Sikorsky to be a versatile, light-attack copter suitable for a wide range of mission types. Like the first few Comanche releases, this game is designed to appeal to both novice and practiced flight-simmers, with an approachable control scheme that can be scaled up for more sophisticated tastes with options like slip control and cyclic range limiting. Up to 16 connected players can join online for multiplayer Comanche 4 missions, either over a LAN or using NovaWorld, the company's Internet service.
