The Achilles 868 tire is a long-lasting all-season tire for sedans, compact cars and crossover vehicles. The tread features large shoulder block for strength and stiffness for outstanding handling during cornering. There are also four wide circumferential grooves for superb water channeling. This feature improves wet traction as well as reduces hydroplaning. The asymmetrical tread pattern is fully siped and reinforced for excellent cornering stability and precision steering response.

Great tread design and a great deal!!
bought two tires for $170 to go on my "commute car" and couldn't be happier! Took the vehicle to Walmart for installation $26, so for about $200 i restored one axle. As for the tires (central florida) they are quiet at all speeds. no rain tests just yet. braking distance has decreased also (more grip). I will continue to buy these tires to get me back and forth to work. my other vehicles include F250 with 37" cooper tires, M4 with Hankook ventus V12 tires. Mediocre tire decent price
2017 Cruze hatch 6spd. Coming off of Factory Hankook Synergy tires, I was disappointed with these Achilles. Factory set up on size this tire did not represent how it was advertised. The are very noisy at high speed 60+. There is way too much squish at turn in. The body roll was far worse than the Hankooks with 70+k miles on them. The Cruze hatch RS has a good sporty feel especially with a 6spd manual trans, and these Achilles did not support that feel. Mpg are important to me and i noticed about 3-4 mpg drop from the Hankooks. Price was decent, dry/wet traction was decent. It's an okay tire for the money and gets you down the road safely. That's about it. I'm not biased to Hankooks, I actually love Achilles brand tire and run them on 2 of my other vehicles. But these were a poor match for the Cruze.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Handle and ride great!
Bought these tires and put them on and aligned my car before I went on vacation. I have to say that the tires rode smooth with little to no road noise. A great set!
Nice looking and smooth riding tires. Quality manufacturing at a great price. I have owned Achillies brand previously with good success regarding wear and ride (Platinum series). These 868 replaced a generic Patriot tire set (30k miles). The new tires turn, ride, and are much quieter than the old. The 2015 Elantra just feels more planted and inspires confidence in the rain or dry. Buy them. They’ll put a smile on your face with a few bucks to spare.
