    Fantastic stand

    It doesn't get much better than this. Rock solid, adjustable, good looking, and all-around great feeling. This stand can be raised VERY HIGH UP with the included long hi hat rod. Higher than an Iron Cobra 600. Love the drum key clip on the main tube, too. The included hi hat clutch drives the tightening screw directly into the rod, but it doesn't require over-tightening to stay put thanks to the teardrop-shaped rod hole. There are also no screw threads where the cymbal sits in the clutch, so no risk of keyholing your top hat. The locking mechanisms work very well and ensure the clutch doesn't come apart mid-song. I was skeptical of the clutch at first, but it won't damage your pull rod as long as you don't crank it super tight.

    I like how light, fast and good looking this pedal is. After have used the DW 5000 for years I decided to change to the Yamaha. The quality, design and mechanics of this pedal is top notch!
