    I wished I had not bought this spring co...

    I wished I had not bought this spring compressor. It has some nice features but it is poorly designed. In my case, my strut springs are very wide, like 8" in diameter. It doesn't work well with wide springs and with alot of appendiges at the bottom of the strut. I guess you get what you pay for. I would have given it a 2 star, but it is quite sturdy and heavy.

    Did not work for my application. It may work for others, but would not accommodate the large rear shocks from my SxS. Had to buy a different tool. The build quality is fine considering the price point. A similar product that does work for my shocks is $500 more. A friend bought the hydraulic OMT spring compressor and it worked fine.
