      A classic favorite among us latins for our babies!

      Outside of the USA, there are different "baby" smells. In the US, you typically find everything perfumed with a baby powder type scent. But outside the US, most things are unscented and so we like to rub a little scented baby splash/cologne between our hands after bathing them and lightly pat this light and pleasant "baby scent" over their head and skin. This one is particularly popular in Cuba and Puerto Rico - "Violetas Francesas" - or French Violets, for many generations! Both my sister-in-law and sister are having babies this month and I bought one for each of them. My grandmother and aunts were smiling ear to ear when they saw I had purchased this for the next generation here in the US. Sweet memories, sweet babies.

      Timeless...

      I remember when my sweet Mother was a young lady with seven children and a husband to tend to, she used Violetas Francesas only for very special occasions. Church, visiting people in need. Houses with newborns. A little trip to town just her and my Father. We were very poor. Those were very hard times. But my Father saved for months to present my dear Mother with a bottle of Violetas Francesas for Christmas. That was his special and not so secret way to show how much he loved her. The fresh, sweet, long lasting aroma was and still is so delicate and calming. This cologne is unique. Perfect for adults as well as babies and small children.

      Best violet cologne I’ve found!

      I didn’t think with all the “fake” violet colognes and perfumes out there that I’d actually find the scent of true sweet violets until now! This cologne captures the essence of violets perfectly! I recommend it highly!
